Flashlights, we all need them while enjoying our recreating time in our RV. We have several in the RV, most of which have dead batteries constantly. This fall we were given an opportunity to review a flashlight from the good people at Coast and I gotta say it is the best flashlight we have ever owned. We have used it now on two trips and our recent trip with our extended family gave us a chance to get reviews from the rest of our family members.
“This flashlight is a flashlight and a half”- Dave Hutsell
“What a really bright flashlight, you could guide planes in with that thing.” -Richard Olson
“Wow, what a solid little flashlight, I want one of these” -Bob McEwen of McEwen Cabinets
Our most recent camping trip was a fun but miserably rainy and windy weekend. It also was rasar clam weekend and low tide was in the dark. This flashlight lit up the whole beach as we were walking down to check out the hundreds of clammers on the beach in the rain. Speaking of rain the flashlight is also water-resistant. The slide focus was great for widening your field of view or focusing in on a particular object. The flashlight takes 9 AA batteries which are included. It also has a bright or a low light setting. This flashlight fits perfectly in the drawer by the door. The kids would fight over who got to use it. I guess we need to purchase two more so they each have one.
Overall we were pleasantly surprised by this flashlight. Backed by Coast’s lifetime warranty this little flashlight is a great addition to any RV’rs must have supply list. What kind of flashlights do you have on your camping trips? Let us know in the comments below.
